Modeling can be a ton of fun! It’s also a bit of work….especially if you don’t have much experience at it. I’ve kind of stumbled into modeling part-time by accident in my fourth decade, nonetheless! And so far, it’s been a really positive experience.
I recently worked with my ‘go-to’ photographer on St. Croix, Kelly Greer Culp, modeling 4 swimsuits, a sweater, a towel, and a pair of sunglasses for Zahara Swimwear, an Australian swimwear line. We took over 70 photos in 70 minutes and got a variety of shots and looks.
We never know which photos will turn out the best and often it’s the last minute spontaneous shots that end up being my faves! Modeling swimwear is relatively easy for me since I live on a tropical island with plenty of beautiful beaches to pose on! These photos were all taken at Tamarind Reef Beach, part of the Tamarind Reef Resort on the East End of St. Croix.

I’m loving my Zahara wear and am really pleased with the versatility of the line. The high waisted bikinis offer an old-world glam style while staying sexy and form-fitting too. And the prints and patterns are super cool!
Here’s a sneak peek of each of the pieces I modeled for Zahara Swim and a taste of the variety you’ll find when shopping for your own suit!
